Kale, Smoked Gouda and Pesto Pizza

  • 1 Tribeca Oven French Baguette
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 oz Kale
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Pesto prepared
  • 12 oz Smoked guoda shredded
  • 1 cup Red peppers diced


  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Slice French baguette in half lengthwise and cut each in half (you should have 4 portions).
  • In a sauté pan over medium heat, add extra virgin olive oil. Sauté kale lightly, season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Turn off heat and set aside.
  • Divide and spread pesto evenly over all four pieces bread.
  • Spread about a third of the cheese on top of the pesto on all four pieces of bread.
  • Divide and spread kale over the cheese for all.
  • Pile the rest of the cheese over the kale for all.
  • Bake for 4 minutes. Carefully sprinkle red pepper on top and bake for an additional 3 – 4 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, allow to cool for 1 – 2 minutes.
